Rocío, Luz de Vida
El próximo 5 de noviembre, la Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Sevilla estrenará la marcha “Rocío, Luz de Vida”, una composición cargada de sentimiento y simbolismo, que nace con el propósito de rendir homenaje a todos los profesionales sanitarios que, con entrega y valentía, dedicaron su vida a la lucha contra la pandemia de COVID-19.
El autor de la obra ha expresado su profunda emoción por poder formar parte de esta iniciativa, que considera “una oportunidad única para agradecer, desde la música, el esfuerzo y el sacrificio de quienes estuvieron en primera línea durante los momentos más difíciles”.
“Es todo un honor poder ser partícipe de esta maravillosa iniciativa, en la que aportaré mi granito de arena con la marcha ‘Rocío, Luz de Vida’. Esta composición es un sentido homenaje a todos los profesionales médicos que, con su entrega incondicional, dieron su vida luchando contra el COVID-19”, ha declarado el compositor.
La pieza, que será interpretada por una de las formaciones musicales más prestigiosas del panorama andaluz, supone además un tributo a la solidaridad, la esperanza y la luz que tantas personas mantuvieron viva durante aquellos meses de incertidumbre.
El compositor ha querido agradecer especialmente a Antonio María Lebrero Ramírez la confianza depositada en él para llevar a cabo este encargo tan especial. “Agradezco de corazón a Antonio María Lebrero Ramírez la oportunidad de asumir este reto artístico y humano. ‘Rocío, Luz de Vida’ no solo es una marcha, sino un mensaje de gratitud hacia quienes dieron todo por salvar vidas”.
El estreno tendrá lugar en un acto público en el que se espera la asistencia de representantes del ámbito sanitario, autoridades municipales y miembros de la comunidad musical sevillana. La Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Sevilla, bajo la dirección de Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Juan, ofrecerá un programa en el que esta obra ocupará un lugar destacado por su carga emocional y su profundo significado social.
Con esta creación, la música vuelve a convertirse en un vehículo de memoria, reconocimiento y esperanza. “Rocío, Luz de Vida” es, sin duda, una composición que trascenderá por su belleza y por el noble mensaje que encierra: honrar a quienes dieron su vida por salvar las de los demás.
On November 5, the Municipal Symphonic Band of Seville will premiere the march “Rocío, Light of Life”, a composition filled with emotion and symbolism, created to pay tribute to all healthcare professionals who, with dedication and courage, devoted their lives to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The composer of the piece has expressed his deep emotion at being part of this initiative, which he considers “a unique opportunity to express, through music, gratitude for the effort and sacrifice of those who stood on the front lines during the most difficult times.”
“It is truly an honor to take part in this wonderful initiative, to contribute my small grain of sand with the march ‘Rocío, Light of Life.’ This composition is a heartfelt tribute to all medical professionals who, with unconditional devotion, gave their lives fighting against COVID-19,” the composer declared.
The piece, to be performed by one of the most prestigious musical ensembles in Andalusia, also serves as a tribute to the solidarity, hope, and light that so many people kept alive during those months of uncertainty.
The composer expressed special gratitude to Antonio María Lebrero Ramírez for the trust placed in him to undertake such a meaningful commission. “I am deeply grateful to Antonio María Lebrero Ramírez for giving me the opportunity to take on this artistic and human challenge. ‘Rocío, Light of Life’ is not only a march but also a message of gratitude to those who gave everything to save lives.”
The premiere will take place during a public event expected to be attended by representatives from the healthcare sector, municipal authorities, and members of Seville’s musical community. Under the direction of Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Juan, the Municipal Symphonic Band of Seville will present a program in which this work will hold a prominent place for its emotional depth and profound social significance.
