Hispalis

Hispalis is inspired by the city of Seville, situated in the southwest of Spain. In this piece, composer Juan A. Pérez takes you for a walk through this magnificent city: La Giralda, its river “río Guadalquivir”, its dreamy streets, the Plaza de España and its traditions. The work is divided into 4 parts: the introduction, where the Andalusian style and the sevillanas stand out; second, where the great festivities are depicted; a third one that represents the passion of the Semana Santa (Holy Week), and the last one, where the styles of several of its most emblematic neighborhoods and places, such as the Alameda or the Santa Cruz neighborhood, are captured.

Hispalis se inspira en la ciudad de Sevilla, situada en el suroeste de España. En esta pieza, el compositor Juan A. Pérez nos lleva a pasear por esta magnífica ciudad: La Giralda, su río Guadalquivir, sus calles de ensueño, la Plaza de España y sus tradiciones. La obra se divide en 4 partes: la introducción, donde destaca el estilo andaluz y las sevillanas; la segunda, donde se representan las grandes fiestas; una tercera que representa la pasión de la Semana Santa, y la última, donde se plasman los estilos de varios de sus barrios y lugares más emblemáticos, como la Alameda o el barrio de Santa Cruz.
